The lecture shared information on Bond Graphs (BGs) that are very powerful tools for modelling and analysis of dynamic Systems belonging to various domains of energy. The language of Bond Graphs aspires to express and model the dynamics of any system through the power interaction.
Power exchange between different parts of a system is systematically (algorithmically) represented graphically. As the power variables are generalized, Bond graphs have been efficiently used for modelling of complex systems belonging to various energetic domains m mechanical, thermal, thermos-chemical, economic systems, eco-systems, etc. Apart from being efficient in realms of modelling, BGs have been used extensively for Fault detection of complex systems, Fault Tolerant control, Control Analysis, Observer synthesis. It is hoped that students, Industrial Practitioners and researchers stand to benefit from this talk!

Academic Background
– 2012 – 2015 Doctoral Studies at École Centrale de Lille (EC Lille), France.
– 2011 – 2012 Masters Recherche « Autonomous Electrical and Mechanical Systems (SMaRT)», EC
– 2007 – 2011 Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical Engineering,
– 2006 High School, KendriyaVidyalaya I.I.T Powai (Central School), Mumbai, India.
Schedule of the workshop:
– 45 – minutes – Introduction to bond graphs.
– 45 – minutes – Modelling dynamical systems using bond graph. Bond graphs are awesome because it provides a systematic (programable) approach for modelling and graphical representation of multienergetic dynamical system. As universal tool to model any dynamic system for any given time: economical systems, mechanical systems, lectrochemical,
physics based system, eco-system, biological systems.
– 1,5 – Practical modelling of electromechanical system.
